Daren Knipe

Daren has worked within the licensed trade since the start of his career, working for old giants like Whitbread, Scottish & Newcastle and has over 14 years experience. His move into Area Management and then Tenancy Operations has given him a broad experience base which has developed into a substantial knowledge of pubs and pub business. Having a keen eye for the industry he is trading as Knipes to promote the opportunities that lie within the licensed trade for others. Daren has run his own pub as well as running them for others and knows the pitfalls and profit margins that can be made when you take on your own pub.

Kate Knipe

Kate’s background is mainly HR driven however the majority of that experience was gained within Scottish & Newcastle Retail working for the managed house division. She therefore has a vast amount of ‘people’ knowledge. Kate also ran the tenancy with Daren. More recently Kate has been running her own business.
